Leslie and Burkhard were wonderful hosts at their Amanhavis Hotel in Benahavis for the April lunch of the American Club of the Costa del Sol.  It was a glorious sunny day and on arrival we were greeted with a very refreshing cocktail of cava with passion fruit essence.  We were soon seasted in the lovely dining room and our excellent food courses quickly appeared.  Chef Laurent did a super job in the kitchen and was ably assisted by Margo in the dining room.  But the highlight was the parade of Easter bonnets! It was extremely hard to choose which hat was the best, but luckily, we had plenty of different categories so  most people received prizes, some two! Sue Boyton for the best Easter Hat, Alan even received a prize for having the best (and only) tie and Robert received a prize for the only men´s hat (Robert, I was brought up that men do not wear hats inside!!!!) only joking!
 

Very many thanks to the generosity of our members for being so warm-hearted in providing so many prizes.  And to all our members who worked so hard to make the day a success.   Also thanks to our friends from Estepona for making the trip over for lunch. But they knew they would have a good time!!   Many thanks to the Benahavis Ayuntamiento for the lovely hats given to our lunch members.
 
Everyone agreed it had been a wonderful day and we look forward to returning to Benahavis before too long.
