A WARM WELCOME to two new members, LUIS PORTERO DE LA TORRE AND JOSE LUIS MARTINEZ HENS who joined us
after experiencing our recent Thanksgiving Celebration.
Hi Everybody.
First of all, I hope everybody had a very Merry Christmas wherever they were; if you were in Spain it was a bit of a wet one again!
I also wish you and your families a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous 2011.
MANILA CAFE, 17TH DECEMBER 2010
As shown in the photograph, on December 17th 2010 David Kylen, FMB President gave the annual gift to the Staff of the Manila Cafe. A big thanks to all the Staff of the Manila for their friendiness and hospitality throughout the year; also to Tynan for the excellent photographs he takes of our meetings !

MONTHLY FMB BOARD MEETING, 10TH DECEMBER 2010

FMB CHAPTER MEETING, REGINA´S RESTAURANTE, FUENGIROLA PORT, 14TH DECEMBER 2010
Many thanks to Troy Davis for his following comments on the meeting:
"Dear friends and members,
I took a picture -- AND IT LOOKS GOOD TO ME!
The meeting was a com si-com sa meeting with David in charge. I am no longer the Secretary of FMB but we have a very capable lady in charge, Miss Sue Ann, so as your outgoing secretary and current back-bencher, please give Sue Ann your 100% support. It takes all of us to make it work.
Big Bill Oliver stood up and gave expanded thanks from the two PROFESORAS AMERICANAS (teachers) that our Chapter invited to our recent National Day of Thanksgiving at the Internationally known restaurant of VALPARAISO.
In the photo can be seen some of the key PROFESSIONALS who made it a success-namely--DAVID, PATRICIA, SUE ANN and MIKE. Plus, we have our membership chair and one of our lawyers--Big Bill, and Helene and Jorgen Kolding, a former UN dignitary and then we have the lovely Helene Ender for the French speakers.
The lunch was great, as usual, and if you're floating around Fuengirola on a weekend, stop in at Reginas's, there's always a big or small dance going on plus the food is good.
Jackie and I are off to Paris now, so hold down the fort, see y'all in January--make sure we have lunch in the right place.
Recuerdos a todos---Troy y Jackie (the boss lady)"
We all wish Troy and Jackie a Happy and Healthy New Year and look forward to seeing them on their return to Fuengirola from Paris.
NEWS FROM PATRICIA GRAY:
Inge Stone´s Christmas Party was a "wow" this year. For those who attended there was plenty of Christmas atmosphere - the brazier burning, logs on the fire, the house decorated with cheerful decorations and Inge´s famous papier-mache figures, not to mention her artwork.
With the food and wine flowing some French horn players led by Cayetano played some wonderful musical pieces including Wagner. A flamenco singer, Alfonso Cayetano stole the show and invited us to sing with him" See a selection some of the many photographs kindly supplied by Patricia.

PRE-CHRISTMAS DINNER AND DANCE, 21ST DECEMBER 2010
With the help of Raffaelle and Hose M at the Valparaiso Restaurante, Mijas a pre-Christmas Dinner and Dance for our Chapter members was organised. Raffaelle and his staff at the Valparaiso once again excelled themselves with first class service and exceptional food.
The evening continued with the performance of a selection of music on the keyboard to which our members danced the night away. A good time was had by all who attended. See a selection of some of the many photographs kindly taken by Sue Ann Perez Fajardo.
