To ALL our readers.

We are now just over halfway through the year and our chapter goes from strength to strength.   Year to date we have had many outstanding events which have been successful due to the efforts of our band of volunteers and the enthusiastic participation of our membership and their many guests.

Worthy of particular note was our July 4th celebration, and Joanne’s excellent collation of members’ comments gives an accurate assessment of the pleasure that was enjoyed by all.   Interestingly there was so little movement of people at the end of the evening I think everyone wanted the night to continue.   It is not possible to isolate any part of the evening as being a major contributor to the success of the event but I did notice a line of gentlemen practicing resuscitation techniques, and expressing concern that the young lady in the band may have expended too much energy.

We are now in our ‘Summer Break’ and your Board wants to wish good health to all, we look forward to getting together again in September (watch the website for details of the date and venue) and then prepare yourselves for ‘Halloween Horrors’
