Hello everyone. 

Let’s begin this month with the Chapter Meeting which was held as scheduled on 10th January, 2012, at Regina’s in the Port, Fuengirola.

• The meeting was opened by President David Kylen at 11:45 am. 
• There were no new members to welcome.
• First of all we wished everyone a very happy New Year. 
• The Treasurers report was read and the club now has 1346 € in the bank.
• David thought it would be nice if we give 300 € to the church for charity, and this was unanimously agreed .

The Central Board Meeting was held on the 17th of this month in La Cala.  There were several members present from each Chapter. 
The Annual General Meeting will also be held in La Cala, on Thursday, 1st March.

Unfortunately, we will not be having our normal anniversary luncheon, with the other Chapters, in May of this year. Therefore, it would be nice if all members of the FMB could attend our local monthly lunch – the venue of which will be announced shortly.

The first Chapter Lunch of the New Year was held on the 19th January.  It was to be at La Solera, but unfortunately the restaurant was still closed for the holidays, so we moved the venue to the Salamanca in Central Fuengirola.  The lunch was well attended and we were pleased to welcome two members from the Estepona Chapter, Jim Thibault and Johnnie Wadley.  The food and service was up to its usual good standard and a good time was had by all!
